UNSW and Apollo India form a new partnership to train India’s next generation of public health leaders

A partnership between the University of New South Wales, Australia and Apollo Medvarsity will see a new UNSW SPHCM Master of Public Health (International) program offered in India.  This specialist postgraduate program will help address India’s shortage of public health professionals and strengthen the country’s capacity to respond to major health challenges. It was launched in Mumbai on November 14th 2016.  

At the same event, Apollo Hospitals Group Chairman and founder Dr Prathap Reddy was honoured by UNSW and awarded an honorary Doctorate of Medicine, conferred by President and Vice-Chancellor Professor Ian Jacobs.
