The Muru Marri Indigenous Health Unit

Muru Marri is an academic unit of the School that is culturally and professionally supportive of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in their work as undergraduate or postgraduate students, teachers, researchers, and/or committee and community members. Staff and associates of the Unit include a number of leading Aboriginal and non-Indigenous health researchers, each with extensive experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in a variety of roles.

Counselling and Support

Undertaking postgraduate studies can be very stressful. The UNSW Counselling service provides a free and confidential service to all students enrolled at UNSW.. See Counselling and Psychological Services (CAPS).

University Health Services

University Health Service at Kensington campus is a medical clinic with Doctors, Nurses, a Mental Health Nurse and visiting Psychiatrists and an Orthopaedic surgeon. Services are available for all UNSW students.  Domestic students are bulk billed and overseas students are billed directly if they have insurance with Medibank Private or OSHC Worldcare.
