Modes of delivery include:

Internal

Face to face sessions over 12 weeks

External

Usually requires attendance at face-to-face workshops during residential week followed by a 12 week session of self study material which may include Web based learning components. An increasing number of courses may be undertaken without residential week attendance.

Workshop

Face to face workshops over several days with follow up assignment material.

We currently have over 500 students enrolled in postgraduate programs. Over one half of these students are studying externally, the fastest growing group of students in the program.

To meet work and family commitments (most students are working full time and many have children) students choose to combine attendance in classes with Web-based or self-study learning components. Programs can be undertaken full-time or part-time; through internal, external or mixed modes. The teaching staff work closely with our course development team to build in more flexibility and improve the quality of our programs.

We also realise that those of you who are studying externally may have special needs, and we aim to keep in touch through regular newsletters, residential schools and Web-based discussions. Check our Online Learning pages for more details about Web-based components.
